So I currently have the FFG card sleeves that feature Michael Komarck's sexy portait of Jaime Lannister protecting my Lannister and Baratheon decks. I really like the sleeves and Komarck has consistently produced what is by far my favorite asoiaf art. I have been hoping for some more of these and was pleasantly surprised when I went on the FFG store today to discover new sleeves: this time featuring Komarck's Cersei. However, I now have a number of questions for FFG:
1. Why did Komarck's Jaime picture end up on the sleeves but not on a LCG card? The two currently in use are nice enough but I personally don't think they compare.
2. Is Komarck going to be commissioned for any more card art? I wouldn't mind seeing him do a version of all my favorite asoiaf characters.
3. I really like the Jaime and Cersei pictures but....they're both Lannisters! I don't really want Jaime Lannister on my Baratheon deck. And I definitely don't think my Stark cards would appreciate me covering them in Lannisters. Are we ever going to get card sleeves more appropriate for other houses? If there is any way you could get Komarck's picture of Ned from the asoiaf calendar on a card sleeve I would go and buy those immediately . Then I wouldn't have to feel guilty shoving poor Jory Cassel back to back with the kingslayer...
