b) Maybe. but there are certainly times when *Having* it is better than *not*, and what other sources of it do you have? Its not like Jan's along for the Ride or anything.

Its a "worse" scatter but needs two accuracies to lock it down. I think he could be nice paired with oddball.

Don’t take Kit. Don’t take Plo. Take Dengar instead 😀

Dengar gives intel and counter (to everyone not just generics and his stacks with existing counter) so gets the effect of both Jedi for fewer points. No adept 2 but swarm gives one re roll.

I like Delta-7s but the Jedi ace versions all seem a little too costly. Plo is ok if you have several escort fighters as the enemy have to shoot them and they get swarm on the counter (1). Another Jedi ace can make them obscured too but it is a paler version of the Biggs ball and more costly.

Hes going to ignore one good hit but after that he will only have one brace which means he is pretty vulnerable at least to rebels and imps.

Clone wars factions have a few less blue dice so less reliable acc?

Either way, his best defence is probably v19s.

2. Fisto will not be flying in a vacuum. He'll have swarms of Torrents around him.

3. Once you get to him, you have to eat counter 2/adept 2.

4. You don't get to alpha this guy and his torrents.

Reserve Hangar Deck isn’t as appealing for the Republic as any of the other factions because V-19s have 5 hit points whereas the other factions’ Swarm squadrons have 3, and RHD only sets the replacement squadron to 2 hit points.

Unless of course RHD has been changed in the UCC.

But even a 2 health torrent hits just as hard. For extra credit you can activate them first next turn and both heal on the station and attack as well.

So it can eat a shot meant for a fragile, overpriced squadron like Kit Fisto.

Or you can just spend the 3pt RHD to recover your 12pt fighter, move it away from the shooting and deny your opponent 9pts.

I like Fisto... That's all... You may resume your "aggressive negotiations."

Intel is still good. Its how it should should have been from the start now and no longer a totally undercosted „all your fighters are useless now“-trait.

A worse scattter? You obviously never played Tel Trevura with Asteroid Tactics. If im gonna fly Kit Fisto, Asteroid Tactics will be an autoinclude. Especially since Intel also grants Grit to Kit himself, meaning its even easier to disengage.

He's not great, and probably the worst of the Jedi aces, but he still has a place in a minimal ball I think. If you're just going for sub 60 points in squadrons, Kit is pretty survivable while also countering the current most prolific Rebel squadron out there: Lando. Kit is literally the only one in the game that can reduce Lando's fixed shot to zero. That's because he's not trying to modify Lando's dice like a normal Scatter.

And also new intel doesn't prevent from shooting at ships. 2 hull screen right next to your ships looks like a fine way to fly brawling acclamators spam.
