Already been informed by my FLGS that FFG didn't give them around half their pre-order so I can't presently get any fighter squadrons. Anyone else having similar issues?
FFG Not fulfilling UK Clone Wars pre-orders
Pretty much everyone in the UK.
In addition to any holdups in production in China and transportation from there due to covid issues, we have a major problem with getting any goods into the ports in the UK.
Turns out that leaving the EU has extra consequences for getting deliveries of anything on time when a) priority is given to stuff for dealing with an ongoing pandemic, and b) since there is no plan for what happens at the end of the year, many retailers and manufacturers have been trying to stock up with parts and essentials for their businesses ready for a reoccurrance of the horrendous panic-buying that struck earlier this year and have completely filled the port facilities.
Many things will fail to arrive for Christmas. Some container ships have spent nearly a month waiting to dock. Some have given up and gone to other destinations and some have had to return where they came from.
And FFG/Asmodee have failed to get supply to match demand for Armada for years. This time, x-wing is having similar problems - at least in the UK. How's the rest of the world doing?
Well you aren't going to be allowed out of the house before June unless you live in Rockall, so don't worry.
Just visited my FLGS for some smalltalk today. At least in Germany (or maybe for flagship stores?) all storebound deliveries are still expected to arrive in time next week.

I am less worried about on time as distribution is another issue compared to artificial scarcity. Plus it sounds like they should know better by now....
Not FFG's fault, they have no control over it.
Blame Asmodee and whom they choose to have as distributors.
Just got another email from a different shop saying they can’t provide the upgrade cards that were ordered months ago, so it looks like they have literally just not been bothered about the UK.
It’s tiring enough waiting for the glacially paced restocks for old models, let alone FFG not even trying to fulfill pre-orders for new stock.

At least cards are somewhat easy to proxy than new ships, even though that not getting what was promised is not fun/frustrating.
Asmodee UK's website has all the Armada Clone Wars stuff listed as "New Release" but also "Sold Out", and they don't sell directly to the public (same with the new Legion, Arkham Horror and Lot5R releases). With the Starhawk and now this, I'm guessing we need to get used to chaos and delays with things - a side effect of the various interesting choices the British public have made over the last few years.
My lgs rarely gets everything that they order from asmodee.
This isn't new; I've been seeing this happen with x-wing and (to a lesser extent) legion for at least 12 months now (probably closer to 2 years).
With a high demand release like this i was just waiting for the inevitable short-shipments.

What a bizarre excuse to make for a companies historical inability to provide appropriate stock.
Ha ha....well I have had emails as well....no squadrons or card packs....
Seems looking at other sites, they are either listed as "on order" or not even available.....which actually means on their stock they are not expecting to have it. I actually ordered it in August. So whilst it should not shock me in the slightest (Covid, Brexit and of course FFG/Asmodee's being pretty useless for an age) I still am in shock and angry!
No plastic spaceships. Cancel Christmas. I am fed up

This particular rest of the world is saddened by America First and Brexit....
My little place on the continent has no info yet from the store, but there is no reason to doubt it will be different from dates I have seen in neighboring German stores, Dec 4th.
So assuming we are fine - although noticing on the FFG webstore that the cardpack is indicated as out of stock already makes me nervous. I hope that the non-preorder guys can get hold of it as well.
Truly sry for you, hope things turn out well!
