New gunnery team card.
New gunnery team card.
This isn’t so bad. I generally don’t use GTs more than once or twice a game but it is nice to have them for the threat and to take advantage of forking positions. Add Hondo to a Gozanti and give the ISD a CF token.
not reattacking a target is prohibited only in the users activation so Salvo and counter(1) are not effected.
Can an SSD still fire with GTs at three different targets if it uses say only one CF token on its first shot?

Nope. Can do confire 1st attack and 2nd attack same hullzone, or 1st attack, choose a different hullzone and then confire 2nd attack and 3rd attack from same hullzone as the 2nd.
Edited by KarneckSome more stuff I’ve found.
*Major point decrease for Tarkin, he's now 28 points. Same wording otherwise.
*Captain Brunson: Unique Imperial Officer 9pts, Recur; While Defending at distance 1-2 of an obstacle, during the Spend Defense Tokens step, you may exhaust this card to choose and cancel 1 attack die.
*Sato got a points decrease, now 27 points. Otherwise, the same.
*Admiral Konstantine: Unique Imperial Commander 23pts; At the start of each Status Phase, you may choose any number of enemy ships at distance 1-5 of at least 2 friendly non-flotilla ships, 1 of which much be medium or larger size class. For each chosen ship, you may discard 1 Navigate token from it or increase or decrease its speed by 1 to a minimum of speed 1.
*Mon Mothma: Rebel Commander, Unique 27pts; When a friendly ship resolves the Evade token effect, it can cancel 1 die at medium range or reroll 1 additional die at close range or distance 1.
*Assault Proton Torpedoes: Ordnance Upgrade, 4 pts; Black crit: Exhaust this card to deal 1 faceup damage card to the defender.
*Yavaris: Title, Unique; Rebel 5pts; Squadron; Each squadron you activate may choose to only attack during your activation. If it does, while attacking, it may add 1 die to its attack pool of a color already in its attack pool.
* Demolisher; Imperial title, unique 10pts: During your Attack step, you can perform only 1 attack.
You can perform 1 of your attacks after you execute your manuever during your activation.
Found this on a reddit post.

I dont speak German at all, is it saying you need to spend a repair token to ready it up?

Yes.
There's a reddit thread that's spoiling the cards right now in English.

Lord and steward of imperial cheese.

Interesting to note that, unless this is an error on the person posting these, Demolisher doesn't specify 'your first maneuver' (ie, no Engine Techs) like its current errata.

Unless you're raided.

Which is why there is likely an FAQ update thats still to come. Otherwise new changes make no sense with some of the old errata or clarifications
I have long believed the benefit of demolisher was that it was able to effectively skip ahead a turn basically by moving then attacking and not being able to follow it up with a "full turn" of shooting again brings the card very much in line, in that you can only attack once so it creates this "you can forfeit one attack latter to attack now." However because that is never turned "off" when you don't need it you could get just as much use out of a normal GSD you basilcly sacrifice firepower for a connivance and taking something for connivance in armada is never a good idea you just need to follow the old adage "git gud". I mean maybe a really weird GSD with a way to get accuracies and a ton of black dice with a con-fire could really take out the smalls,
Gladiator I (56)
• Skilled First Officer (1)
• Sensor Team (5)
• Expanded Launchers (13)
• Demolisher (10)
= 85 Points
but I think the days of demolisher are at an end.
Well it cant triple tap any more.
It can still double tap, but only if it can last first. Which is funny because in some ways it is now less flexible than a non demolisher black dice ship.
A single demo volley will still kill or close to kill a small ship (evade changes aside) and a last first will severely damage a medium or a large. Which is basically on par with an mc30. Demo just has a particular skill for killing corvettes.

Why not? The change doesn't say you can only attack once, it says once in the attack phase. So 1 attack in the attack phase, then 1 during the movement phase. All you need to do is ram in between.
Konstantine is going to be fabulous.

Thanks. Nobody has mentioned Dominator yet but no doubt in my mind that the Rebels have got the best of the points modifications on the cards. (At least so far). Avenger and Demolisher both weakened.

The guy spoilt Dominator some time ago:
Slight tweak to the language, but it doesn't change how it plays or what it costs.
"Dominator: Unique Imperial Title 12pts; While attacking at close-medium range, you may spend up to 2 shields from any of your hull zones to add that number of blue dice to your attack pool."

Strange, I looked at it and couldn't see it.
Shame that they didn't revisit it. Great card but massively overpriced. Along with the overpricedness of the Vic2 it feels like the Imps are getting a raw deal in 1.5.
