Speaks Binary/Improved Speaks Binary & combining with Skilled/Unskilled Assist

By PS-29-3, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

A quick question we had in a game.
We understand how skilled and unskilled assistance works. We know how speaks binary and improved speaks binary work.
Do these combine? We can't find anything RAW about this.
Does anyone have house rules they use for droids assisting players they have used with good results?

Speaks Binary allows a player to grant Boost to any tasks he directs NPC droids to perform.

Improved Speaks Binary allows a player to grant a Boost to any tasks he directs an NPC droid to assist with.

In the case of directing a droid to perform a task, then assisting with that task, the PC grants X Boost from Speaks Binary and then grants the effects of either Unskilled Assistance or Skilled Assistance, whichever is applicable.

In the case of directing a droid to assist a fellow PC with a task, the droid provides an (static single) additional Boost to the check and provides the effects of either Unskilled Assistance or Skills Assistance, whichever is applicable.

To sum it up, if the droid is being assisted, Speaks Binary applies. If the droid is assist ing , Improved Speaks Binary applies, never both.

This doesn't change if/when the PC with Speaks Binary is assisting or being assisted by the droid.

This is exactly what I was looking for.
