First off, I want to make clear that I think the design does look cool.
But man, I can't help but laugh and think that's really more like "fractal guns" than "fractal sponge" - when you get to the point where there are smaller gun barrels hanging off the sides of the larger gun barrels, I just start losing it 😆
Still, the overall design looks cool, which, really, is the most important thing when it comes to Star Wars ships!
Oh hey Fractalsponge, I recognize that name. Art was stolen from him for official Disney stuff. Also one of his designs got stolen and then altered a bit and used in a movie for some Star Destroyer variant.
EDIT: Oh and that's just the tip of the iceberg, his stuff has been stolen quite a few times, for official stuff, and at least 3 of his original ship designs have become canon.
