[Ruling] Iron Crane Legion printed skill

Hi, You have Iron Crane Legion and your opponent has 4 cards in hand. Assuming you are in a conflict, Iron Crane Legion has a military skill of 4 (assuming no other effects). Your opponent plays Unmask targeting the Iron Crane Legion. What is now the military skill of the Iron Crane Legion? Is it now 0 or 3 or 4? Do we use the calculated value of the printed skill when applying the effects of the Unmask? Does the timing of playing Unmask mean that your opponent has 3 cards in hand at the point when the effects take place? Or does Unmask simply see an "X" as the printed value and takes that as zero? If it is set to non-zero and if your opponent's hand reduces to 2 cards, is Iron Crane Legion's military skill still set as 3 (or 4) or does it adjust to the new value of 2? i.e. does the "set to their printed values" take the value at that time or does it mean that during the lasting effect take their printed skill values (whatever they may be at that time). Thanks,

Unmask (and Apprentice Earthcaller) will set Iron Crane Legion’s military skill to 0, as their effects see “X” as the printed value (and X has no inherent numerical value). Because it cannot be modified by non-set effects, per “set” rules, Iron Crane Legion’s constant ability that defines X cannot modify it away from anything other than 0.
