And the Midwestern Melee overall Champion is Kevin McClure who place second in Joust and first in Melee and was the overall champion! Congratz to Kevin!

Congratulations on your overall championship, Kevin!

Thanks! I had a great time this weekend - even through that crazy melee game without any resets. It was good to see everybody again and meet some new people. Hope to see you all at Gencon!

Nice to see no Lanni winner!!! Just because it means "we can do it" :-) Congrats!

Congrats to Kevin McClure on his Win in Melee and overall Championship! Sounds like a fun final table.

Congrats on the Joust Win Staton and to Kevin for Melee and Overall wins. Great job! Thanks for the reports Dobbler =D

WAY TO GO JOSH!!!

Sincere congratulations on a very, very impressive Joust win at one of the most respected and competitive Regionals around - home of World Champions and multiple GenCon finalists. Great job - way to back up your on line analysis, way to represent for your favorite House and way to firmly establish yourself among the elite players in the game. I am very happy for you and very proud of the wya you have grown as a player.

~The let Josh win...AND Bara...tsk-tsk. :)

j/k - congrats! Now that Bara is the house to beat, we can stop all the Lanni errata ;)

Thanks for all the congrats guys! ~Also, I told you so! :P This was seriously one of the best events (outside of chicon, but this is probably implied at every event) I've been to. It made me very excited for Thrones, and made me decide that I will indeed be going to Gencon!

I'd like to thank a few people:

Will-Thanks for the organizing of this event, letting me borrow the cards I needed, and most of all, thanks for suggesting Red Wedding. SUCH a good card in that build!

Greg-Thanks for letting practically the entire tourney stay at your house! And not only stay but you provided breakfast, dinner, cards, and your vast AGoT knowledge for last minute 4am deck changes. I'd also like to non-thank you for the shaggydog deck! :P

Andrew-Always good to get to see you and that happens alot less than it should! Grats on making the final table with a sansa deck! lol And sorry for having to beat you in the joust. There can be only one. :P

Zeiler-Thanks for the organzing and forgetting about Core Set Melisandre. lol

Husemann-Just wanted to say I was sorry about suggesting you play baratheon in Melee. Man people hate baratheon!

Kyle-For playtesting with me for a month straight. And congrats on your performance this weekend! You have gotten ALOT better.

Katie-Grats on making the final melee table! you really shine in this format, much better than I do! Really hoping you make it to Gencon Melee!

There are way more thanks and comments I'd like to make, but still recovering from the weekend. Thanks to everyone who I got to hang out with and hope all the new players want to come back and play again!

One more result to report:

Throughout the weekend, players worked towards achieving different "exploits". We had created a list of 40-50 different exploits that could be accomplished in any game played at the store between Friday and Sunday. It was alot of fun and everyone really seemed to get into it!

Kyle won with 126 points

Ben was second

Justin was third
