I just bought the core box game and really have an interest in the High Elf and Dark Elf races.

Is this release something worth getting? Also what is the best way to acquire more cards? I hear people talk about deck building but do you need more core sets to add to that series?

Yeah, I liked the Assault on Ulthuan expansion, I think it's worth picking up. If you just bought the core set, if I were you I'd get some mileage out of that before I run out and buy everything possible. I think I must have played like 30-40 hours with just the core set before I bought anything else. Try the draft format too, it's really fun.

Anyhow, before you draft, I would do something like this to get an idea of which cards are good and which one's aren't.

1. Make two piles of cards, one all Destruction-only and the other Order-only.
2. Split the neutrals randomly and add half to each pile.
3. Determine who will play Destruction and who Order randomly.
4. Each player makes a deck, minimum 50 cards, from each pile.
5. Play 3 (or 5 if you have lots of time) games. You may change your deck between games.
6. Shuffle each deck back into the pile. Switch piles.
