No idea, FFG as far as I know hasn't mentioned anything about it. Last release the official app got updated two days before official release, maybe this time it will be two days after?
Besides, Yet another squadron builder and Launchbay Next+ have the new stuff which I prefer immensely over the official thing. The official app looks pretty but the functionality could use some work.
