Pronouns

A situation came up in a game yesterday.

Raymond had a plot card that gains bad baggage with when an opponent discards two of his dark cards. Does the 'his' mean Raymond (I.E. You must discard two Dark Raymond Cards) or the opponent (Discard any two dark cards)?

Thanks

It always relates to the character the plot targets. This can be read from a couple of other plot cards, but I don't remember which one. So the player must discard Ray's dark cards - not any.

Interesting. We didnt play it like that. I can see how that might be the case, but there is nothing in the rules to indicate this (as far as I know).

If an ability says "Discard 2 dark cards", I read that as discard any 2 dark cards rather than discard 2 dark cards from the player who is currently taking their turn and whose plot you are affecting.

Be nice to get an official working on this.

He's not talking about *any* card that says "discard 2 dark cards" - there are some cards that say "discard 2 of HIS dark cards". These ones are specific to the character they are targetting.

Exactamente.
