Couple of questions

By Fieras, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

A. Fury of the Stag: Can this effect go off more than once? If the bara player has edric storm, or if another player plays the plot that gives an additional power challenge, does fury of the stag take 2 characters for the phase? Thanks.

B. I have heard seductive promise has been errata'd just as fury of the stag has. Is this true, or do you keep control of the seductive promise target?

A. Sure, there's nothing on the card that says the effect can't happen more than once.

B. Not true. Maybe you misinterpreted someone comparing the two cards - Seductive Promise has some built in restrictions that Fury doesn't (once per phase and can not choose unique characters). You can find the list of errata and banned cards in the FAQ available in the support section of the FFG AGoT minisite .

A. The thing to remember with this one is that the plot can take one character per power challenge that you win - on attack or defense. So it is possible for you to take 2 (or more in Melee) characters in a single phase even without something like Edric letting you initiate more than one challenge as the attacker. It's one per power challenge you win, but keep in mind that it is only one per power challenge that you win against those Houses.

Yeah, I really got boned last night with Stag (Had a newbie friend playing my own deck against me and a buddy in melee and he beat me with it) I was destroying them all game, but he got this miraculous turn of events.

I had 14 power, and had Danys horde on the table with no queens for either of my opponents. My friend playing my bara deck had 2 power and won initiative. I got to go second (bara went first), so all I needed to do was lose 1 power or less during his attack and I was golden. Unfortunately, he had fury of the stag as his plot, and marshalled stannis. With no lords on my end, he came through unopposed and stole a power (stannis, army of the faithful, and double renown robert, plus unopposed and opposition so he netted 7 power on the attack), then stole danys horde and popped edric. Attacked again, taking 2 more power, and played make a example for another 3. At this point he was at 14, and with the 2nd pop of fury, stole one of my characters that had power on it for the win. 2 to 15 in one turn (and didnt even have to use his M or I challenges.)

Anyhow, I just wanted to confirm thats how it worked. I am not mad, as I lost to my own deck, lol.
