Buzz Droids and Sideslips

By WileECoyote36, in X-Wing Rules Questions

If you have attached buzz droids on the front guides of an enemy HMP, if they sideslip on their next maneuver, do the buzz droids reattach?

Probably not right, because they haven't moved through the buzz droids, they've "slipped" out of them?

Also not sure if this was answered anywhere else but thanks!

Yep, same as if you advanced sensored a barrel roll (or something to that effect), since they only trigger their repositioning after someone moves through them.

Correct. Buzz droids only follow if they are overlapped. Which wont happen on a side slip.

Makes things a little bit trickier when you know the ship you're dropping Buzz Droids onto has alternate movement capabilities... barrel rolling, sideslipping, or reversing course. ;)

or in the case of buzz droids on the rear guides, boosting. It actually makes it very difficult to get buzz droids to work on a Delta-7 due to Fine-Tuned Controls. Getting the ETA-2 may be a bit easier at least for the launch of them. But still not that easy. Guess Obi-wan is a bad barrel roller :P
