I've been painting my X-Wing for a while now and haven't posted many of them on the forums so I figured I'd make a thread.

I've mostly been painting Republic and Separatists over the past year, but I play a bit of everything so I'll start with a bunch I already have photos of. There's many more pictures here.

First up, Separatists!

Still got a LAAT, a Y-wing and another couple of torrents to paint for these guys.

Those are some smooth paint jobs.

Now these are nice! The neon colored separatists in particular are really eye catching.

For rounded cockpits it's hand blended/layered from almost black up to the lightest colour. I didn't use wet blending but did mix colours. The cockpits are then varnished with 2-3 layers of watered down gloss varnish (in this case Ardcoat by GW) to give the shine.
