Iden and Kallus. It's getting weird in the Empire releases.

Not weird, just some planning on ffgs part. Iden and kallus are 2 of the most prominent traitors the empire had. I expect rebels to great those units released within the next year.

I would have preferred Thrawn over kallus. Very unexcited for that. There’s a reason nobody mentioned wa ting kallus, ffg. Lol. Lando will be awesome though.

I'm honestly kind of excited for Kallus. I like the idea of him being able to reconfigure his weapon from ranged mode to melee mode in a pinch, which would make him a pretty versatile combat unit. Might make an interesting field commander while running someone like Iden to focus on other specific tasks.

There's other expansions I'd probably have picked over him, but I like the idea. I've enjoyed running Iden since her release and I probably wouldn't have called her as an option either, honestly.

Traitors? In MY Empire? It's more likely than you think!

Jokes aside, I don't know how I'd feel about that. I already kinda feel bad for Rebel players who now have to share their AT-RT (I know GAR had it first canonically) but at least that's not a character unit.

I don't, but I admit it is possible.

Han Solo was part of the Imperial Army, should we expect him in the Imperial faction because of that? Darth Vader also betrayed the Emperor, so should we expect to see in in the Rebellion as well? We also see Rebels using stormtrooper armor, and a stolen AT-ST, yet neither of those are included in the game.

Kallus and Iden spent far more of the GCW as part of the Empire as opposed to being part of the Rebellion, so it makes sens to include them as only Empire units, especially as the Empire doesn't have as many named characters to pull from as the Rebellion.

Don't see what the problem with Kallus is. He was an on screen combat oriented commander, and melee heavy also. Could be very interesting.

Kallus might also hint at an ISB Special Forces unit that could come later that he might synergies with, maybe even a Yularen Commander down the road to create a new type of Imperial list.

Not that bad

Decent sculpts. Nice to see the lightning effect. Hope Kallus comes with mutton chop face

Iden yes, but Kallus actually had defected before even the first Death Star was destroyed. I still think it makes sense to portray him as an Imperial though.

I'm so excited for Kallus. I really hope this means they're gonna dive into Rebels characters and units. I'd love to see the entire Ghost crew and the Inquisitors make an appearance. I had set up to finally paint my entire clone army, but I'm starting to think I should finish my Imps so they're ready when Kallus drops.

Wait, you can FINISH painting armies? That's a myth!

I'd love to see the Pre-Scarif era get more representation on the board. The Rebels crew would make for a cool unit type for the Rebels and I'd love to see more of the ISB and Inquisition. Kallus could be a good first step towards that or at least an indication that they are willing to go in that direction.

My CIS is all but done. just need to finish my STAPs

You can really see how the switch to hard plastic adds so much more details.

That's fair, I forgot Rebels takes place in a short time. Still, I don't think we are very likely to see a second version of him, in part because the Rebels already have a ton of other characters, while the Empire has a smaller number.

I would say Kallus has a decent chance to get in sooner rather then later. Most likely as a detachment with Zeb since Zeb may be the least popular member of the Ghost crew (as far as I can tell). Would still expect Hera/Chopper, Ezra/Kanen, Ahsoka, and Rex before him tho.

So far Legion has taken characters from the movies, TV shows, and video games. No comics or books. So far we only got a few cards with hints for the comics with fear and dead men and force shield as far as I can tell . And one book reference with Seyn for Inferno Squadron.

Rebels and Fallen Order really helped the Empire out with characters. They have at least 5 Inquisitors that get a lot of development and throw in another 5 named ones who have at least do a little bit. Of coruse we have to worry about GAR and Empire both being filled with force users, but I guess one side being light and the other being dark would be cool.

I still would love to see the Ghost crew brought in similar to how they did Inferno Squad or Clan Wren. Make it so you can take them as a complete set in the form of one squad, but also set it up so they can be spread out among other units like Hask or Echo. It would make army building a lot more variable for the Rebels and then we could potentially get something similar for the Empire.

Overall, I just want to see more options for variety in list composition. I'm not even a rebels player, but I like the idea of bringing in the whole Ghost crew.

Hera could be a commander with counterpart CHopper, maybe multiple counterparts with Zeb as a body guard.

Ezra and Kanan could be Jedi Operatives.

Aphra is coming, probably as an operative. BT1 and 000 will show up too.

Inquisitors could be operatives or commander (Grand Inquisitor)

Their box art has been spoiled now as well.

So the one thing I noticed is that is Battlefront 2's story mission with Lando, so maybe Shriv will come one day. and I bet Kallus can do some nasty Melee with that weapon since it is also an electro staff.

Facial hair, the duel.

So we are getting theme waves now. All 4 betray their faction at some point and all will have that flaw card.

Sort of wish they would tease the theme for the waves now, give us some much needed buzz a few weeks before the official announcements. Thank the gods for leaks!

Edit: I have been informed that two of them will not have flaw cards with Maul's being a photo error. False alarm people!!! We still don't have theme waves. Maybe wave 10 or 11.

Are you including Maul in that group? Because it was revealed that he will not have a flaw card— the card shown in his spread in the initial announcement was an error.

Also, he never betrayed the CIS. Not only was he never a part of it, but he was abandoned by Sidious (granted, Sidious assumed he was dead) and replaced by Dooku, so he felt that he was the one who was betrayed.

But if Lando does get a flaw card, I really hope it's "Deal's Getting Worse All the Time"

What do you mean all four have flaw cards? If you think Maul has a flaw card, you are mistaken. Eddy Luke already stated that Maul has no flaw card. It was a photoshop error

Neither Kallus nor Maul have a Flaw card.
