Two Legion leaks (spoilers!!!)

Same source? The last couple of FFG leaks all came from (local) distributor catalogs - which makes sense since these will know about new products 9+ months before release. They have to order them in production and do localisation.

This leak though is from the presentation page of 'Spiel' the largest boardgame convention in the world, where they list which products will be presented. It also includes all known upcoming FFG products like CW Armada. It was just bad timing I guess since Spiel probably uploads the entire presentation page in bulk. And besides we all know how long the Disney approval process for News articles is, so the official announcement will still be in the pipeline somewhere.

Ah okay. The initial post said "usual source" so I thought it was a store in France.

When I see/hear about the leaks they always blame leakers in Europe. So I will change the post and add the site it was found on just to be on the safe side.

They are perfect candidates for new weakness card mechanic introduced with Maul and Anakin.

Very excited to see what these expansions are going to be like! Been waiting for Lando forever.

Kallus could be dual faction maybe?

Wonder what the remaining 2 expansions are going to be?

They could both be dual faction to be honest.

We only know about weakness cards with Anakin. As far as I'm aware, Maul won't have that mechanic. We even know what one of his cards is and there isn't a flaw built into it

In an interview with crabbok it was revealed that only Anakin has a flaw card. Maul doesn't have one

As an Imperial player this is very disappointing, i was hoping for a small sized vehicle which could benefit from Del Meeko being on the board, not some ISB loser who was beaten every episode.

I don't really see vehicles ever being on a small base. Maybe some kind of sentry/battle droid would be cool.

I was referring more to ATRT sized vehicles

In his defense, I think he suffers from some rather heavy Warf Syndrome where the heroes beating him is used to help establish the power of the heroes. All of his major combat prowess is discussed in an off-screen manner (his eradication of Zeb's people, for example, is something talked about but never shown) which is one of the show's weaknesses. I still loved the show, but I wish we had gotten to see more of Kallus demonstrating why he was promoted to his position in terms of combat.

As far as the next imp vehicle, I'd like to see the imperial transport (don't remember the name) that started as a toy, then was in rebels, and the showed up in live action in the last couple of episodes of the Mandalorian. But I don't expect it this next release.

GenCon stream showed back of weakness card. Both Anakin and Maul have them and I bet Lando and Kallus will get one too.

That card after 3 command cards is weakness one.

We don't know what that is, aside from not being a command card, since there's never been a card with that back to it before. What we do know is that Anakin's "Hero of the Clone Wars" 3 pip command card is a flawed card. It's also face-up in the preview article photos you posted so it isn't a card like that.

Also if they only have one bad card each and 3 good ones, why make that a mechanic at all when with Anakin, and especially Maul since he's an operative, can take the three generics and the three not bad cards?

Pretty sure Luke Eddy said it was a mistake during the interview.

And in the Crabbok interview it was said that the card spread for Maul was a mistake from an earlier version of Maul. Only Anikan has the drawback card.

New gear card leaked for Lando as well.

Better as an objective marker.

Calling it now : Lando will be in his general's outfit.

There are still two upcoming as-yet unannounced Imperial/Rebel releases. From the way Luke Eddy talked about about them during the GenCon live stream, one of them sounds like it will be a vehicle/droid (he referred to it as "it" and not "they"), which if it is a vehicle release, means there's a good chance both of them will be vehicles.

I kind of doubt Lando will have any double agent mechanics. He sold out Han briefly before changing his mind and then spent decades working with the alliance and the new republic.

Kallus on the other hand worked for the empire for years before switching sides. I could definitely see some kind of Agent Fulcrum shenanigans with him.

Lando does all kinds of double dealing in the Rebels show. He's been working both sides all along, that's one reason the Ghost crew hate him.

I wonder if anything else will come out of this.

I'll be shocked if either of them come with a flaw card or are dual faction. That's a bit more of a gimmick than FFG seems to plan for while designing or playtesting. Looking at the "problems" of having Artoo as a dual faction card, and I doubt they'll try their hand at it again for quite a while.

Anakins 3 pip isnt his "flaw" card the card with the weird backing is the flaw card, and thats about all we know about it so far. It was also confirmed that maul doesnt have a flaw card. The flaw card in his spread was a typo/mistake

Since he's a commander I agree

I mean, with the inclusion of Kallus and Sabine, I think it's a solid indicator that they'll be doing the Rebels characters. Personally I'm hoping for the Inquisitorius. It's be nice to have some lower powered force users on the imp side. Something that doesn't eat up 25% of an army to field.
