Interested in the Vassal World Cup, the tournament that somehow became the most important tournament of 2020, when it comes back around in January 2021? Well, it's time for QUALIFIERS! That's right, if you couldn't win a tournament yet this year, but you still think you have what it takes, you too can compete on Armada's biggest (online) stage!

The qualifier rules are simple, score 21 tournament points in online games between now and the end of November. That's three 7's, or two 10's and a 1 point loss! Easy enough. On the off-chance it takes you 5 games to get to 21, you'll automatically qualify after Game 5. So two ways to qualify!

Worried all the spots will fill up? Work to qualify anyway, and you can find yourself on the Standby list, of folks that get in to the tournament when folks that did qualify can't play in it.

There may also be secret BOUNTIES that pay additional tournament points, or automatic entries, for those brave enough to claim them.

We just finished a bigger vassal tournament in Germany, the Moralo Open (16 Players, 5 Games + Top4 CUT) and are playing a vassal league at the moment (also 16 players). Do thay count as well?

The Vassal World Cup requires Vassal to play, as it is the common system that everyone should have to be able to play one another. If you and your opponent agree to play Armada in any other way (TTS, in person) then that works. But if you don't both agree to it, it's Vassal as the default, and it'll let you know the specific version of Armada in Vassal to use once the tournament gets going.

In English, I am now available as a bounty. I will try to post when i am online for games, you can also PM me to set up a game. You will choose between one of two lists for me. Your list must include at least one Large base ship (I'll also accept Huges). Both of my lists contain an Imperial class Star Destroyer equipped with every title other than Avenger .

If you destroy my ISD, win or lose, your score for qualification gets +5. If you win and do that, with less than 67 points of squadrons, you get another +5.

Attention 7th fleet resupply convoy under admiral Motti has been spotted in the Krall Nebula. This nebula is too volatile for smaller ships but larger ships will be too slow to reach the convoy in time. Operation potatoe must proceed.
