Okay. Inspired by discussion on the Krayt thread, I've been theorycrafting something for HS Resistance that's not just four T-70s. Challenge was laid down to make room for Rose, so I did that thing. The one I posted in that thread had named T-70 pilots; I replaced them with Black Aces to have points for more toys. I think I hit the usual high spots for Kaz (my Kaz build in the thread was wanting), and in order for Rose to act as a support ship I gave her the ability to red coordinate plus Korr to help shed the resulting stress.

I ran this at UK Open at the beginning of the year, before the dark times. Went 4-2 with it and the games I lost were my flaws more than the list. Mainly used the XXX and Rose as the core joust and Talli would flank or get up in the face my oppents ace to keep them busy why the X's did their thing.

Outside of HS this might work better.

All in all Rose as a coordinator isn't a bad idea. Running her as one in HS without threepio is probablimatic. Squad leader is a restricted coordinate and investing 40 points into Rose is a mistake. At 26 points she's a bargain, as 32 with 3-PO she's a balanced investment. At 40 she's an easy 40 points for your opponent.

Yeah. This is the part of the game where my not yet having played a single game outside of Fly Casual (much less in a tourney) shows the most: I keep forgetting this is about points and the 75 minutes as much as it is about just being the last player alive. 😎 🍺
