In the final chapter when trying to destroy the spiders nest it asks if a hero is carrying the Sun Flame. I looked through all items and didn’t see this anywhere. Is this just a temporary item you get during the mission somehow?

are no physical cards to represent the Ember Crown blossoms

There is a search token somewhere in the mission that grants you the Sun Flame. It will instruct you to place the search token on that character's card to symbolize it.
