Concussion bombs use the 1 straight. Finally, the rules lawyers can

Summary:

1. Bonus attacks are not part of the attack that triggered them.

2. Sloane's "Gains 2 stress" is a single opportunity that gives out 2 tokens, not 2 separate opportunities that give out one token each.

3. Concussion Bombs is misprinted, supposed to use the 1 straight template for its drops as many have assumed. Will be in the Errata section of the RR at a later date.

4. Kalani only triggers once per enemy maneuver regardless of how many arcs the enemy ship lands in.

It was non-functional as printed, they've fixed it. Simple as that.

Well I was wrong on how this guy works against Sloane.

That's true, but it really should have been obvious that that's how it works since that's how just about everything else works, and the number of people arguing otherwise for strange loopholes (i.e. it cannot be dropped and only launched by TrajSim) was far too high.

Wait so how does this work, then? You're not gaining a stress token, you're gaining two, so what does "that stress token" refer to now?

I am fully aware I'm being pedantic but maybe it's a ruling that's still needed? Not sure.

I think he can remove 1 of the 2 that are given. Worst case though is that he removes none (expect Sloane to go up a little in cost if this is the case).

You would really think a unique upgarde would go up in points because of how it interacts with a unique pilot from another faction?

I am not saying Sloane won't go up, but I would be surprised if it was caused by her interaction with Nien Numb

The ruling doesn't just apply to Nien's interaction with her ability, but with every "When you gain a stress token," effect since her ability passes out 2 as part of a single instance. Nien is just the example that I remember as being discussed heavily so came to mind first.

I mean, I already knew I was right about Kalani, but it's nice to see it there anyhow.

....but each one of those 2 stress tokens is a stress token.....
