broken small ship stand
Glue?
If superglue isn't making a strong enough bond, and you have a drill bit the size of the stem, you could drill through the thick flat part (stop at the L part that slots in to the base) so that the stem sockets into the level part, which combined with glue should be stronger than trying to glue it flush.
If you've got a small enough drill bit, you could drill down the middle of the stem and also drill into the flat part, and then get a piece of a toothpick into the hole that was drilled (which should also fit into the base).
I've found that Superglue itself makes for a wobbly bond, so the stand flexes slightly. Epoxy glues, which mix two different liquids together work better. I use Gorilla brand and I've fixed quite a lot of ships and their stands over the years, both for x-wing and Armada.
When the tag on the small models breaks, I glue flat magnet discs to the model and the end of the stem, so I can still detach them. Some people just glue the model directly onto the stem instead.

I use the magnet method myself. Just make sure to glue the magnets in the right direction 😁
Two component epoxy glue only! It's more difficult to handle, but it's much stronger than superglue. Superglue is fast, but it's very rigid, tends to break even under medium force, and with such a small area to be glued together, it would break every time you use that ship.
If only FFG had a Replacement Parts Program that allowed customers to order replacement parts for broken or missing components. 🙄
BTW, has anyone used the new replacement parts policy through their retailer and received a replacement?
I submitted a claim back in March for a missing VCX-100 from my Rebel Fighter Squadrons II expansion and I haven't received it or any updates about it. And I don't know anyone who has received any replacement products from FFG since the new policy was imposed by Asmodee. So I'm genuinely curious if the new policy is real and works, or if it's a hollow promise from Asmodee?
