I agree, just figured Botham Spies would be a similar flavor to Prove Droids, a sort of intel gathering unit.

My thinking when saying R2 was that the Probe droid could be the Empire 35 point activation with “secret mission” unit.

I could see them as a two mini support unit with infiltrate, observation tokens (whatever those do) and a self destruct mechanic.

I dont think we will see factions with bounty also get secret mission, and vice versa, unless the rebels also get bounty, which seems also very unlikely.

I agree. I think that they fit the good guys vs. badguys faction identities.

What I would like to see is maybe a change to Bounty that makes it a little easier to accomplish. I feel like Secret Mission is a lot easier to pull off most of the time.

Bounty shouldnt require that the operative stay alive. If the empire hires a bounty hunter to kill someone, all they care about is if the target dies or not, they dont care if the bounty hunter survives afterwards. And the bounty hunters guild still gets paid the same amount by the Empire either way so they dont care either as long as the contract is fulfilled. You should get the 1 VP regardless of whether the operative survives or not. I think that would make bounty a little more on par with secret mission in terms of difficulty.

I think they learned their lesson with cheap activations. I think theres a good chance of R2 getting nerfed by forcing you to take C3PO with him. And I dont think theyre going to make that mistake again.
