Rebs:

(this one has had the biggest difference in VPs vs clone teams than any others)

Cassian Andor(Loadout)
Chewbacca (Tenacity, Hunter)
K-2SO (Jyns SE-14 Blaster)

Much more helpful.

I did call people whiners. I probably shouldn't have, but listening to it is getting really, really old. I have posted in multiple other threads teams and ideas that would be helpful vs GAR, I thought the OP guide was quite extensive and reflected a LOT of my own conclusions as mentioned in my first post.

Agreed. Hard sarcasm shouldn't have been my initial response either.

Oops, that Iden team I posted was the wrong one. That was a gimmick team that won once, but it would never be consistent...lol Here is the correct one:

Iden Versio (Offensive Push, Idens DLT-20A Rifle, Idens ID10 Seeker Droid)
Shoretroopers (T-21B Trooper, Shoretrooper)
DF-90 Mortar Trooper
DF-90 Mortar Trooper
DF-90 Mortar Trooper
Shoretroopers (Del Meeko, Shoretrooper)
Shoretroopers (Gideon Hask, Shoretrooper)
Scout Troopers (Strike Team) (DLT-19x Sniper)
Scout Troopers (Strike Team) (DLT-19x Sniper)
Scout Troopers (Strike Team) (DLT-19x Sniper)
E-Web Heavy Blaster Team
E-Web Heavy Blaster Team

It is annoying that the clones have made it even more important to have double or triple sniper teams in order to knock off the important standby tokens if possible. I am not a fan of the sniper wars, but I don't see how that will change at all even with a potential price hike in the future.

this is a good rebel list that destroyed me the other day

Cassian Andor (90 + 20 = 110)
--Situational Awareness (2), Duck and Cover (4), Targeting Scopes (4), A280-CFE Sniper Config (10)

Cassian Andor (Loadout)
--Hunter (6), Offensive Push (4), Ascension Cables (4), A280-CFE Pistol Config (10)

K-2SO (70 + 10 = 80)
--Jyns SE-14 Blaster (10)

Rebel Troopers (40 + 30 = 70)
--Z-6 Trooper (22), Electrobinoculars (8)

Rebel Troopers (40 + 26 = 66)
--DLT-20A Trooper (26)

Rebel Troopers (40 + 26 = 66)
--DLT-20A Trooper (26)

Mandalorian Resistance (72 + 40 = 112)
--Beskad Duelist (28), Offensive Push (4), Jetpack Rockets (8)

Mandalorian Resistance (Clan Wren) (34 + 88 = 122)
--Tristan Wren (38), Ursa Wren (38), Offensive Push (4), Jetpack Rockets (8)

Rebel Commandos (Strike Team) (20 + 28 = 48)
--DH-447 Sniper (28)

A few other thoughts:

Clones don't really like Payload very much and Saber wielders love payload (due to high action economy and get auto heavy cover while moving toward your opponent's line). They don't want to spend those activations moving instead of dodge/aim and standby. I try to make sure the payloads have to cross paths to ensure my saber wielder can cause as much damage as possible.

Have a team that has the ability to out activate clones. This is important because if you run sabers as much as I do (which is good vs clones....if they don't die...) then you will want to limit the amount of fire-supported shots coming your way. You can do this with higher number of activations. Your saber will take a bunch of hits to the face though, so be careful when to bring them out. Make sure it is on the round you play Luke's new 2 pip, Vader's new 2 pip, or GG's 2 pip.

Luke's 2 pip is incredible vs clones. We play tested it last week. even if a fire supported attack from Arcs with Fives, with a P2 and a Z6, and a bunch of aims we got to 11-13 hits on Luke. We tried Luke's defense without cover. Lets say he got hit with 13 dice, no cover, he has 1 dodge. He spends his dodge to block one, so down to 12 hits. On average he will block 2/3 hits (red defense with surge) so he will take 4ish wounds and will deflect an average of 2, then you add in the additional white dice. That brings his damage down even further and ups his chance to deflect further. we tested it several times and he only died 2-3 times out of the 15 or so rolls we tested, he also rolled 5 or more surges 4-5 times out of the 15 times we tested it. This is in no way a perfect study, nor is it perfect averages, but even the worst case scenario for Luke with his new 2 pip is really encouraging for a rebel player.

GG's 2 pip just makes everything around him have guardian 2, so he can (relatively) safely get to his target that round.

Vader's 2 pip is much more tricky due to the range restriction for chalking up more dodges. That is why with the list I have shown there are 3 units that can keep up with him and heal up to 6 wounds. Once Vader hits the clone lines it very difficult to kill him.

If you are able to engage the clone lines then dodge before attacking as much as possible. The small gut punches from clones will be decreased significantly that way. Practice saber wielders in close combat A LOT. Timing is everything. If you find yourself stranded and not engaged after your activation, then you probably played it wrong.

Try to avoid the Hostage scenario vs clones.

Spread them out: I have generally had good success with Intercept transmissions vs clones.

Use terrain to block line of sight on other units to snipe/kill R2 running for the hills

Pierce if your best friend. My most successful team vs clones is the Han+Chewy and Cassian +K2 team. That team has 9 units with pierce. Han's 2 pip is essential in getting your stuff safely into range. Once Han gets 3 wounds then activate him and move and dodge or shoot and dodge. (dodge is the most important) Now your opponent has to start hitting Cassian (face up order token). Once they both have 2-3 wounds which should happen that round, then activate Cassian and dodge up. Chewy needs to be in range so you can make sure Han and Cassian don't die the rest of the round. Lead the following round with Cassian's 2 pip and put orders on him and Han again. This should provide 12 dodges (assuming you have 3 or more wounds on each) for this round and then you start to rain down the piercing pain with all you pierce units. Focus the heavy hitters first (Arcs, P2s, Rex). I usually lose Han and Cassian this round, but the damage is done and I am left just cleaning up everything after this command card combo.
