I took over a collection, including 2 unassembled 74-Z speeder bikes, but I'm missing the transparant pegs.
The deluxe base pack FFG sells, does not seem to include pegs, so does anyone know what 3rd market pegs would fit?
compatible pegs 74-Z speeder bikes
You could try FFGs own clear pegs for X-Wing. Or see if any Warhammer 40k players in your area have bits left over. Or ask Legion players with clan wren boxes. Those boxes have 4 pegs in it and only 3 are needed. Or any model kit shop that sells extra parts in clear plastic.
X-Wing pegs fit great.

I do have a bunch of those and they indeed fit (thought they would be too big). Will be a bit fiddly to glue (or drill) them to the base and keep them level.
I happen to have some warhammer 40k pegs, but those have round tops that don't fit in the tiny hole and (like the X-wing pegs), I would need to drill a hole in the base to keep them stable
X-wing pegs are the best alternative, but i would pin them to the base with a metal rod.
Mandolorian or ARC trooper pegs would require an entire reworking.
Heavy-duty magnets might work. but they would have to really be big.
Three of my four speeder bikes have broken pegs. I'll have to investigate using X-Wing posts as replacements since the FFG ones can't seem to stand even the barest bump without breaking. Kind of like my Hammerhead Corvette posts for Armada...

I always clip the round part off and drill the hole a little bigger to fit and it works great for 40k models. Haven't had to try it with legion yet, but I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.
Edited by KarlVonCarsteinClear pegs are the devil's work. I use opaque pegs for the best results.
