When does the choice trigger?

Say your in alter ego form and Ultron scheme. Is it

1 Ultron scheme

2 assault on NORAD trigger

3 add drone

4 drone schemes

5 assault on NORAD trigger

Or

1 Ultron scheme

2 Assault on norad trigger

3 add drone

4 drone doesn't scheme

And if you have drones already does each of the drone trigger assault on NORAD. Say if you have five drones does assault on NORAD trigger 5 times?

Presumably you are talking about stage IIb :

Forced Response : After placing threat here during step one of the villain phase , each player must choose to either place 2 threat here or put the top card of their deck into play facedown, engaged with them as a Drone minion.

The Villain Phase has steps which you do in order...

Step 1 ) Place threat on the main scheme - that is 1 per player plus 1 per +1 acceleration Token

• after doing this you trigger the Forced Response (if you placed threat on the main scheme - if you prevent that threat you can prevent the trigger).
• so you probably should have either extra threat or an extra drone minion

Step 2) The villain activates (followed by each minion)

• If he schemes (alter-ego mode) then Ultron schemes and then each minion in play in play schemes (including drones from step 1) .
• If he attacks (Hero mode) then Ultron attacks followed by each minion in play attacks (including drones from step 1 and from Ultron IIs attack)
• Notice that this is step 2, so Norad Assualt only adds more minions in step 1

Step 3) Deal Encounter cards (to each player)

Step 4) Reveal dealt encounter cards (in player order)

Step 5) Pass the first player token
