Ffg doesn’t hate scum. The factions getting new ships have way less ships to choose from then Scum - possible exception to empire? But that’s their first new toy since conversion kit and scum got two new toys between conversion kit and the present (3 chassis, 2 expansions).

In all seriousness, Scum does have the advantage of being able to pull from any era with ease. Other factions are a little more limited in that sense, but Scum has sequel trilogy ships, OT-era ships, and will probably end up with prequel-era ships sooner rather than later, if they haven't already. *hasn't watched Clone Wars*
Are we really mad about the faction with the most ships not getting a new ship every wave? Also jousting isn't really what aces are for. They dodge fire arcs really well, but yeah if you fly straight into a gun line you'll explode. That's kinda the point.
