I think it would be safe to say that after the first few waves of Clone Wars rolls out, we would most likely get a era specific Rogues and Villains.

Who would you like to see?

For villains: Cad Bane, Jango Fett, maybe Aurra Sing, maybe Zam Wessel. Hondo again?

Rogues: harder to think of, members of the bad batch, Jedi who walk the line is questionable tactics ala Quinlan Vos.

I'm currently rewatching Clone Wars, so these were some thoughts.

I was watching crabboc’s vid the other day & I honestly don’t know if there could be a Clone wars R&V.

I think a pack that is Republic fighters II & Separatist ‘Villains’ (aka bounty hunters) would be more feasible.

The other option might be Allies & Villains. Here you could include the big Naboo ship (presumably a strategic) & the N1. Round it out with Anakin’s boxy transport. Along with the bounty hunters for the separatists.

Twilight (seems like the obvious one,) Silver Angel , Stinger Mantis and the Nubian Royal Yacht for the Republic? Maybe new Death Watch Gauntlets for the CIS that don’t suck.

Needs more Hondo.

I am Hondo Ohnaka, I once held imprisoned Count Dooku, Obi Wan Kenobi AND Anakin Skywalker, at the same time!

We just need a Hondos and Hondos pack that contains 8 different variations of Hondo in all the various ships he's flown and/or s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶n̶ borrowed in the past, 2 for each faction. Then we will be satisfied.

That means we need a special commander for a flotilla, because Broken Horn

It would be amusing to get a “Rogue” Obiwan Kenobi smuggler from When he pretended to be one for a mini-arc.

honestly, CIS seems to have more to work with for crazy variety. They have more one-off stuff.

In a pseudo R&V pack for clone wars, it would fit better to make it a “specialists” pack. Where GAR gets 1-2 more models and a few more aces (tokened or not) for their standard squads. CIS would get some of the oddball stuff like the infiltrator, whatever Ventress was flying, dooku’s shuttle from episode 2, etc.

Heroes and Villains pack would be more appropriate.

I’d love to see a cross-era Heroes & Villains pack. Some Clone Wars content, some Empire-era content.

Dr. Aphra and the Ark Angel . Quinlan Vos and the First Light . Lando and the Lady Luck (or Lando’s Falcon). Din Djarin and the Razor Crest . Jango Fett and Slave I . Anakin and the Twilight . Cad Bane and the Xanadu Blood . And perhaps Asajj Ventress in the fanblade fighter?

That makes eight. Four for Clone Wars, four for the original factions.

Considering how important that Rogues and Villains pack was for Armada's squadron play, I think that a Clone Wars equivalent is inevitable.

I'm kinda surprised that it's not coming in Wave 2, like it did in Armada Wave 2, but I think it's because CW Wave 2 is scheduled to be released only a month or two after CW Wave 1. We'll barely have any time to get accustomed to the Wave 1 squadrons, so releasing a second squadron pack probably isn't worthwhile.

But I think it's definitely a possibility for Wave 3, whenever that is released in 2021.

I think that the Separatists will benefit the most from a "Clone Wars Rogues & Villains" pack because those squadrons (presumably) won't be droids and have AI-keyword restrictions. There are also plenty of Separatist-affiliated characters from Prequel era canon and Legends that could be in that pack -- the Separatists could even have all 8 squadrons.

Whereas the Republic probably won't have as many -- at least not as many characters that could be aptly defined as "Rogues".

Regardless, I sincerely hope that FFG releases a Clone Wars equivalent of the Rogues & Villain Pack and look forward to that squadron pack being released sooner than later.

the meme joke doesnt work with THIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD lando, whine whine whine. and i meant it as total number of lando squadrons. which, now that i think of it, there's no duplicate squad names. No Hondo in a firespray and hondo in a whatever. for example.

CIS:
- Cad Bane (Xanadu Blood // Rogue Class Starfighter)
- Magnaguards (Rogue Class Starfighter)
- Jango Fett (Slave I)
- Zam Wessel
- Asajj Ventress (Geonosian Ginivex)
- Viceroy Nute Gunray (Sheatipede Shuttle)
- Darth Maul (Scimitar // Sith Infiltrator)
- Count Dooku (Geonosian Solar Sailer)
- Aurra Sing

It doesn't seem to fit the model of allowing mono faction players, they have done separate start sets, and the card pack means new players wouldn't need to buy existing ships. So I hope they don't do a squad pack that is split 50/50, a squad 2 pack for each faction with 2 copies of 4 squads would be better IMO.

I can totally understand your point but on the other hand two faction players would have to buy both packs, even if one copy each would be enough...

But for whom is one copy already enough?!?
