Apt is putting it mildly. Toss the props and tail, shift the "wings" upwards to where they're rooted in the top of the fuselage, spread the engines a little bit further apart and the only thing the MI-24 is missing is the cheek turrets of the LAAT family.

Not even that is missing, they're just the door guns extended out and the chin gun got split.

While that would represent the ship much better, it would run into the same problem the StarFortress has in Resistance. Due to the amount of firepower and arcs the ship itself is already hideously expensive. Then when you load up the further stuff needed for the ship's intended role (bombs and upgrades for the Starfortress, crew and upgrades for the Laat), not enough points left for any meaningful in the rest of your list. And the centerpiece still dies fast due to the hyperefficiency meta we have now.

As a workaround, as the attachment space on these forums is really small.

@Managarmr I was still expecting more of a build out option where it was just add missiles or just add a turret and your good. Like Y-wings kinda. Then on top of that or as an alternate build they could be crew carriers. Basically, engineer the ship to be a skin for two upgrades at most mixed and matched. After that it's up to points really. Let's be real, at least the LAAT isn't a large ship for one, it's dial is much better, so comparing to a SF is a bit of a disservice. It's much closer to a U-wing setup wise for like crew/torp. Not that that's terribly much better, but a bit at least.

It is a sadness that there are so many ships that have to pay up to reach par. But it kinda works as a system, most of the time. Remains to be seen for the LAAT. Like at face value I'd almost price it at like 35 for what it gets you honestly in this spam heavy meta.

Thanks; that's what I did, actually. I'm thinking the site I found it on has remote linking blocked. I have multiple web server domains I can use for hosting linked images from but that process isn't something I'm set up for on an iPad: I'd need an FTP app for that.

How long till they add the AT-TE carrier config and let us drop one on an asteroid to use as a gun platform?

Was kinda thinking 2 would be cool, buffing each others Brockets. . But then I remembered the dial.

It's basically a mini Lambda. But 4 Lambda's is only a thing because it's non-mini-ness hogs half the table.

And then at some point, Epic will surface in my mind and I'll wish I had at least 4.

My biggest fear with it's ordnance is also it's dial. I'll second that. In epic for attacking a Hardcell, er, whatever Seps get, sure just like the movie a few with missiles going in reinforced will be sweet. But for standard this is going to end up like a weird Hawk, though notably more chonky.
