I was thinking it might be convenient to print off a copy of the latest Rules Reference, and noted it was last updated this past January. I know FFG does points refreshes about every six months, does anyone know how long I could expect the printout to remain current before I'd need to print it again?

They typically only do it when necessary: if a new token or ability is defined, then they have to refresh the rules. Also, in rare cases of errata or an actual rule change (like the adjustment to tractor).

In this case, I might wait until the next few expansions drop: Hondo, Purple maneuvers, and probably some other stuff might cause a few rule clarifications/changes to be needed.

I imagine that they will drop that rules guide around the time those items are released to the public.

Yeah I suspect they will update it as soon as wave 7 is released due the hmp sideslip, quickdraw and dampener, and advanced targeting priority, among others.
