n00b question - supporting play for ALL Houses

By gn0x, in 4. AGoT Deck Construction

Sorry if this is a n00b question, I'll ask it anyway ;)

I just bought the core set plus the Wolves of Winter chapter pack to get introduced to the game. After playing through my first game with 4 players, I know that I need to expand to add Martell and Greyjoy.

I am looking to add:
Kings of the Sea x1
Princes of the Sun x1
Ancient Enemies Chapter x1
Sacred Bonds Chapter x1
Refugees of War Chapter x1

Would this allow for people to play as Martell and/or Greyjoy and be pretty competative against the other 4 core House decks?

I'm not really looking for a tournament worthy deck, just something that could hold its own against the other houses... for now :)

Well everything in the Princes of Sun box is in triplicates (three of each card) but the Kings of Sea box only has one of every card, so I guess getting two Kings of Sea boxes might be a bit better for GJ. Although truth be told, GJ is a pretty hard house to play, even if you do have all the cards for that house. So the short answer is you might want to buy another Kings of Sea box. The short but less encouraging answer is its going to take more than just cards to make GJ hold its own against the other houses.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll snag 2 Kings of Sea boxes to help give them a leg to stand on. (too bad i'll have 2 GreyJoy resin house cards and 0 Martell house cards (unless i buy the $20 stand-alone...))
I've heard their a challenge to play, but they sure sound fun. Looking forward to adding Martell as well.

Princes of the Sun comes with duplicates, not triplicates.

I think this question, or one like it, has been asked a few times if you look around in this subforum and the general subforum.

Here is a thread I posted in before that was dealing with a similar but slightly different question.
