As I have said before, I have learned to be super patient with FFG/Asmodee, but seriously? I sent an email to figure out what's up but I don't have high hopes honestly. Maybe I can at least get the refund and then wait for the stocking crisis to blow over.

Where was the preorder from?

@evo454 How long ago was this? Banks can take awhile to process credit card refunds. Worst case you should be able to do a charge back. I am also curious as to if this was an order directly from Asmodee or from some other retailer. Either way that was bad customer service. I recommend calling a customer service number if possible, it is harder to miss/ignore a phonecall than an email.

I went through FFG/Asmodee themselves I don't have a games shop where I live and I figured going through them might help to support them more directly.

I'm not worried about the money, I figure that will come back one way or another, my biggest issue was that the order got cancelled with no indication that action had been taken.

Thankfully, it's not as though my year is made or broken based on whether or not I get ARC troopers so it's all small grapes in the end but still. Put a dent in my day.

I mean, yes, they do get more of the money if you buy directly. Or at least the venture capitalist company that owns Asmodee/FFG does.

It would still be a good idea to keep track of it, just in case the refund didn't get processed among a likely surge in cancellations. It's conceivable possible that someone at the company fat fingered cancelling your order when they meant to cancel some other customer's order.

Only updated ever posted was that payment was taken. It did technically get an updated to say "label created: cancelled".

Possibly so. I lodged the work order via email and I plan to give them a call later today after I get off work and grab my dog. Hopefully it's nothing, but still a bit frustrating.

I'm deployed overseas so I haven't been on top of things and wondered where my pre-order with MM was for both BX-series Droids and the ARC Troopers. Reading this, it's likely they didn't have enough ARC to fulfill my order. However, I'm wondering if anyone that ordered BX-series Droids from MM got shafted or if those boxes all came in ok?

Asking if I need to panic buy from an OLGS as its unlikely they'll respond before Monday.

If you preordered, and they haven't shipped yet, I wouldn't count on getting them any time soon.

That's what I thought when I ordered BX and Arc's from Wayland Games, but then a week after the release I got a notice saying that the Arcs had been cancelled because they no longer get them from their supplier (!?!???), and upon further waiting I was told that they were "awaiting reprints" of the BX droids... So probably my order got put on the backburner because I had the audacity to order both for a friend. ******* glad I managed to find some from another site... more expensive shipping, but at least my friend will get what I promised him.

Contact MM customer support. They allowed me to put my ARCs on customer hold and ship the remainder of my order. If they had enough to fulfill your BXs they will ship out.

I second this, I called MM and they shipped out the BX from my order and my ARCs are just on hold until they come in so I didn't "lose my spot on the line" so to speak. They also did not charge me shipping for splitting the order, they were very good about all this.

on a side note I did receive one of my ARC and BX orders from cool stuff. I didn't remember I had pre-ordered 1 box of each along with my order for Mandos, Infernal, STAP and AT-RT. It was a nice surprise
