There is always the facebook group, and even the discord if your'e into that sort of thing.
The discord is probably the most active group
Alsp check out the Star Wars Legion Subreddit, it's semi active
I frequent the Reddit page. Mostly just folks sharing paints and mods, but it's fun. https://www.reddit.com/r/SWlegion
Facebook groups are the most active, Discord possibly the most useful, but the quality of posts varies wildly.
I do find it intersting how the Legion forum is often way behind in news/updates. All leaks show up on the Discord/Facebook, but often don't make it to this forum. Compare that to the other Star Wars forums here and I find it pretty odd.

The forum in general frequently has a bad reputation. I've been repeatedly told what a dumpster fire it is here. Mostly they're thinking of the X-Wing section, or the salt mines that are the Armada section, but they occasionally have a point. That said, Discord is often just as bad, and a lot of members there have an elitist attitude, so I guess everywhere is a mess.

I have seen some of it here and know a few dozen topics to avoid, but that may come with being a Star Wars fan nowadays lol. Still I guess a bad rep could explain why most people avoid this forum. I could never understand why it felt so dead here.
I find the X-wing one is decent, but that may because of the larger fan base and is much more casual? Armada should just be salt for what they had to endure for years, so anyone going there should know what to expect lol. Will be interesting with Clone Wars if FFG can not burn that game down again.

Not sure if this fits the bill, I am sure you have seen @Sorastro ‘s Legion Painting series which of course is fine and rather impressive crafting.
But if you have time check out his Marvel vids which is simply the definition of Master Class table top painting.

I would sit and watch videos of him just painting a room or a house.
