what is everyone's best guess at the points cost for the Xi/Latt/and HMP? Just want to kind of get my budget in order for how man y to buy considering the big potential ship dump coming in the next few months, including Armada as well..Although I think the FFG release dates are going to be optimistic at best...

I believe that the Midwest Scrub did a podcast where they estimated all of the points using AI. It is Episode 19 "Lies!... Deception!...". I dont have the numbers off of the top of my head, but maybe that helps?

Xi probably low-to-mid 30s. It's kind of similar to a Resistance Transport in terms of statline and actions. Like Resistance Transports, running a bunch of them probably isn't a great plan.
LAAT is trickier. I'd say mid 40s. The raw stats aren't great, but it has a hugely powerful ship ability for helping non-LAAT ships. Running more than one of these in a list is almost surely going to be really mediocre. It's a buff ship that can't buff itself or other LAAT, at least not with large investments in missiles, and even then... it'll probably still be weak.
HMP I'd guess low-to-mid 30s (but I know some folks guess high 30s). It's kind of similar to a Y-Wing with a Turret, or a TIE/sf in terms of toughness and firepower and arc coverage. It's got some funky maneuvers which might raise the price a bit, but seems likely to be in the 5-per-squad price range.
