What happens if you are using the Lvl4 version of Sixth Sense and pull a Skull - both the location you are on and the only other location have a secondary cost (lets say spend a resource to investigate here)?

I would assume that both costs need to be paid as you are considered investigating at both locations?

The FAQ entry on the "as if" phrase specifically mentions extra costs, so I think you're correct.
