Anyone else's squad builder points on the outside of the squad and the inside different?

Was this list from before the points change? There have been times when that breaks things.

It might have been? When did the points update on the app?

I want to say the current is either not being updated, very rarely updated, or not corrected. Its on life-support till the eventual new app which is still WIP

I'm not convinced the new app is ever gonna a happen. BUT I've got hope.

There was an old third party app I loved for 1.0 that showed the pictures of the cards when you previewed the list. Super clean. It went down before 1.0 though lol

In the recent streams they did say it was still coming, but they didn't offer anything beyond that.

I've not used the official app in a long time, but at the last points change I discovered that there is a database bug causing incorrect point totals to be displayed after a points change. One of the totals you are seeing is calculated using old points values, while the other is calculated using the new points values. The root cause of this is a bug in the database code causing it to still reference a stale copy of the data even though the app has partly updated. This will probably(?) resolve itself over time, but I can't say how long it will take. It appears to be a bug in the backend, not a bug with app data, so reinstalling will probably not help you here. The web version has the same issue.

tl;dr use raithos.github.io or the LaunchBayNext app or some crayons and cardboard instead of using the official app

At this point, use an abacus if you want. Anything but the official app. Hopefully the new one is functional, but at least the old one doesn't link to Games Workshop's google drive like the abomination of the new 40k app. I was frankly surprised when I saw it was worse than the X-Wing app.

Yeah, and the rest of it doesn't work either. It also costs $5 a month, or you could get battlescribe free or premium for 1.50 a year . They actually outdid FFG. I didn't think it could be done.

I played through the an Edge of the Empire Star Wars campaign, and we all talked about buying the SW dice app...but it cost $5. Everyone just bought the proprietary dice. Lol. Paying for apps just feels bad. Especially when I've already bought in to the game.

I get supporting a single person putting all the time in to making a better and/or better functioning app.

Yeah; at first I thought the bug was rare but as I spend more time theorycrafting I've come to the point where I feel the need to manually check everything now, so I'm migrating over to YASB for now. My problem with YASB was OAuth not working so I couldn't log in and save lists, but that's been pinned down to a Safari compatibility issue. I either use Chrome (which you can also get for iOS) or export the list to import back in later.

I really like the interface for the official app but if I can't trust the numbers it's not worth it.
