I apologize if this has been asked/answered before. This came up the other day in regards to Quake, and I never really thought about it. Honestly when I see a zero stat on a character when I'm in Alter-ego I sorta just skip over them.

Quake reads: "Response: After a minion schemes, exhaust Quake → deal 2 damage to that minion."

So does a minion have to place threat to be considered to have schemed or does it scheme and just not place any threat?

I feel like I'm asking: "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it still make any sound?"

Whenever I have played Quake I just use her up as fast as possible, but if she can deal her damage to all those Hydra Mercenaries and Armored Guards in my life, maybe it would give me pause.

Yes - unless a character has a “-“ for a stat, they can still use it.
