Why does everyone prefer primed thrusters above Pattern analyzer?

Is it because you can still be stressed and keep performing that boost/barrel roll, because pattern analyzer is cheaper and in the turn you acquire the stress you can perform any action. I'm asking because I never see this card in use and I think it's pretty good.

Depends on the ship.

On Kylo Ren, for example, Primed Thrusters all the way. Dude doesn't pull too many red moves, but does take stress, and sometimes movement actions are the only ones he needs.

On a generic, it'll almost always be Pattern Analyzer. Having a focus is usually the best action there. However, it's still pretty expensive on most generics. On anything like an A-Wing or non-gunner TIE/sf, it'll just be too expensive to bother with, and you can get by fine without taking red moves.

Folks like Nien Nunb have particularly nice synergies with Pattern Analyzer, too.

my experience is the opposite; I see Pattern Analyzer quite often and Primed Thrusters close to never.

Certain ships stress themselves every round (i.e. kylo and poe), so using pattern anaylzer is never much of an option.

Primed thrusters is a better option for ships like kylo and bb8 poe to continue doing shenanigans every round without having a limited dial.
