Had my first IRL Armada game in a year!

This had DISASTROUS consequences:

I ordered:

A Starhawk, never got around to buying one earlier, and with the pandemic there was no point. Only ship I didn't own.

But then I ordered another Onager, bc they look so **** good and I play mostly Imps.

One thing led to another...and I also got:

A Dictor. Bc they are pretty, and for a custom game I want to run one on a large base without having to move the one I have around.

A Liberty. Bc I've wanted another for some time. I think they are **** good looking. Will never see play.

A Quasar. It was pretty cheap and I fondly remembered some Monster Truck games where I used several Quasars. Probably will never be used.

A Pelta. The guy I played vs didn't have a Pelta and wanted to borrow mine, but I used the 1 I have. Now I have 2, so he can borrow one!

Looking forward to CW when it hits. Then I can show NEW things rather than OLD things.

Should I get a 2nd SSD??? I had 2 at one point, but sold one.

You would DARRRRE bring up the name of Rian Johnson on this, our most holy of websites something something darkside something something ruined my life and childhood, can never sleep or taste food again, life is suffering, complain complain complain complain. As a TRUE star wars fan I only like and recognize the original trilogy. Except Return of the Jedi, I didnt like the Ewoks. And the acting in New Hope was bad too. So I recognize Empire, but just like.... the good 20 minutes.

Guilty as charged, I wished George Lucas went with his original plan to use Wookiees in ROTJ. Chewbacca leading a revolution against the Empire would have been excellent.

My fleet is based on enough duplicates to cover all title cards (with some extras due to buying people's old lots/combos), but alas I haven't bit the bullet on more than one SSD.

I recently bought what I thought was going to be my second Gladiator and instead received my first Quasar.

Haha, good eye. Yes our very own 'dark lord' tries very hard to disrupt games and sharpen her teeth on star destroyer hulls. She does make the best obstacle...the''PURR-gil'' (slaps knee...ahhh Dad jokes)😁

It was a good movie! I also somewhat enjoyed Looper.

He should just stay far far away from anything Star wars.

Yeah, that's why it is known as Episode gr8 by Real Star Wars Fans!

For my opinion, anything good in 8 died in agony on the cutting room floor between the hand off from the 7 writers and in it's own post production. R1 was the sagas dying gift to world. Save the rebellion, save the dream!

YES. I have never used two in a single fleet, but the price point for the quality can't be beat. I think the Korbanth 36" resin kit is the next closest model by size and cost, and it's like $400-$500 and needs to be assembled and painted (I have two Armada SSD models, I use one in Armada matches and one is set up in my office by my computer tower.)
