Custom Character: Demon-Spawn
Very cool and nice picture. I like that new mechanic this character brings into the game and he dosn't seem to be owerpowered.

Nice character, but it will not hurt to give him a chance to get some spells.
A 5 and 6 perhaps? Then he can use the boost in the game.
( whenever you roll a 5 or 6 for your move, you gain a spell) 
Yes it seems balanced well for actual gameplay.

He still has a use for spells, in that he can discard them for bonuses in his strength and craft.
I was thinking of changing the spell related ability for a Fire Aura.
Fire Aura: If you lose a battle with another character and your craft is higher than theirs they also lose 1 life.
Just seems a little more fitting, what do you think?
How about this:
Fire mace: When you attack a creature in battle, you may use the fire Mace to increase it's strength.
1-2 it's strength is increase by one
3-4 its strength is increase by two
5-6 it's strength is increased by three
You can not use other weapons when you use the Fire Mace.

Pretty cool, but only thing is that it is an objeckt (mace) and then again it isn't because it can't be taken - It is more a part of the Demon Spawn then.
To be honest I better like the aura idea, but the aura could also work with this mace rule. But I also like the defence damaging aura tjedgar came with. It is very original and gives a faster game phase.

What about making him immune to the Pit fiends in the inner region ?
No one else gets a +3 to battle. That is a little to easy to get with no downside. Either with a +3 there should be a negative possibility, or the chance is only a +2.
Either
1 -1 to battle
2-3 no bonus
4 +1
5 +2
6 +3
Or
1 -1
2-4 + 1
5 +2
6 +3
A 33% chance at a plus three to battle seems a bit too powerful in my opinion. The above two options seem a bit more balanced in theory. Though needs to be tested. Foregoing a plus three on this roll table would remove a negative result if you redo the charts.
I am not trying to quash your ideas. I just try to think towards game balance. I always try to give advice and reasoning behind what I say, rather than being negative.

The Mace is part of the demon spawn, and not considered as a object.
But the Fire aura can use the same idea indeed.
This makes him more interesting i think.
Then he can use a weapon too, unless you add a rule that he cannot use weapons

The monk gets a +3 in battle with his inner belief
I use the old-fashioned monk with Craft added.

Old fashioned monk is way too overpowered in my opinion and I think FFG thought the same, so they changed it to value insted of craft. He is very good in start of the game where he can beat the most monsters on the main board with his strenght 2(+3) and 5 fate 
By the way, I won with the monk two days ago 
Oooh maybe reword ability #1.
Maybe you can make it HEAL one life in the desert. I don't think that would be too overpowered since the castle is there and players can heal for mere gold.
