resitance A+X+pod+fire ball

Hi

Finally be able to get hold of transport pod and fire ball from my local store.

I am trying to craft a list they uses them both with support.

my current idea is 4 ships, I am trying to make the list with no multiple ships and I want to try fireball ( even though A wing I think is a much better ship) and the pod in the list.

this is what I currently have.

Total: 195

so I have 5 points left over not sure what to spend it on, might keep it as a bid so I can get my I5 to move second.

I am on the fence about how to build the fire ball, heroic is a always include but the R5 is there to get rid of the first damage card so back to a 6 health 3 attack 3 defense ship for 45 points I think is a steal, or should I use it as a distraction that causes more fear then it produces due to the 3 3 stat line when it has little damage.

the other ideas I was thinking of change was scrape FINN to just heroic and replace the A wing ZIZI with:-

Chewbacca (Resistance) (61)
Rey's Millennium Falcon (2)

but I do think the A wing is such a good ship it always needs to be included in any resistance list and Fat Finn may still be too good of a cost efficient ship not to include. I may be wrong on that I am not sure

but hey any tips or advice on how to build and fly this type of list would be great,

Never tried that, may give that ago.

Will help against those swarm lists.

Cluster missiles is always a trap and Kaz really wants to keep that first damage card so you can use the ship ability if the opportunity arises; treat R5 like you would an R2 on a delta 7. Honestly what you have seems like a pretty solid starting point, Zizi and Finn are good at soaking shots while Nien and Kaz work the flanks. Adv. SLAM and the Black 1 title are the only additions I'd consider right now, but as you said that eats into your bid.

Normally I would just get rid of the first damage card on the first turn using R5 but you may be right in keeping it so I can use the advance slam ability.

if I do that I think I will add the title and advanced slam, so I could slam in, know what crit I was turning over and then also get a action after. for a possible range 1 moded shot.

the reason I normally got rid of the card straight away is to give a larger buffer against losing the extra defence dice if I may end up suffer multiple shots.
