The Aquila class strongly resembles the Old Republic's ARC-170, the most notable difference being the Aquila has only 2 engines on top of the hull, no S-foils, and noticeably curved wings, ending in heavy laser cannons, and three hardpoints under each wing, and 2 light laser cannon in the ship's nose.

The Aegis class SPV has a short thin hull with a dome shaped super structure at the top and bottom and a hangar for a small shuttle in the front. The wings are long and wide, runing the length of the hull, and extending 7 yards past the front of the hull, and contain 1 torpedo and 1 missile launcher each.
At the apex of each dome is a quad heavy laser cannon mount. The Aegis also sports a missile launcher and magazine with a capacity of 25 missiles in each wing along with a torpedo launcher and a magazine capacity of 10 torpedoes in each wing.
