Sooo... Finally Sienar-Jaemus Engineers dropped below 50 pts and we can now fit 4 of them in a list with 8 points to spare.

Any ideas on how to best spend those 8 points? The most obvious choice is probably switching one of the Engineers to Avenger. As I can't do it due to our league rules limitations, I'm going to try them with two Ion Missiles, but I already have a feeling that those will be... underwhelming.

I'm almost leaning towards bid. 8 is kind of a lot, but it protects a few points, and it'll really **** with anyone like Droids who wants to have clean maneuvers to ensure they can get their actions in. Start a chain reaction and if the whole droid swarm loses their Calc tokens, they'll go down fast.

Another option: Quickdraw + 3 SJE. No upgrades except the Gunner, but that's still a lot of punch. QD is kind of First Order Wedge: Init 6 with ininspiring maneuverability, but threatens a nasty amount of damage. Not so much an ace as an ace-hunter. If on the early rounds QD is somewhat screened by the SJEs, an opponent might not have great shots on them and a great opportunity to take down the shields in a single round.

Of course, Quickdraw is Extended...
