From context, I believe this is true, although neither the rules of the FAQ clearly spell it out:

Do passive abilities trigger even when the card they are on is kneeling? Obviously they will still follow all other restrictions normally.

Sure, why not? Passives trigger when they say so and do not depend on the condition of card.
