With the revelation that Leia is dropping from the monstrous 38pts to a paletable 28pts, the question stands, what does 10pts get you?
10pts won't get you a pack of fudge anymore, but it might stretch to two expanded hanger bays.
Suggestions welcome.

I always loved that Leia allowed 4 squadron carriers for 23 points. Now the EHB comes for free!!!

10pts is actually 2.5% of a list.
Upgrade two torp hammers to scout hammers.
Toryn Farr and Ezra Bridger
Upgrade Gr75 to combat refit and Draven or Sabine.

At the moment you asked? Sleeping. But to actually answer the question posed by Gink, it's more a matter of not needing to make compromises for everything I'm fitting in. I can put 10 points of upgrades into my carriers to help them do their job a bit better, I can upgrade a mediocre squad ball into a better one (same squad numbers, just the inclusion of an Ace or two), or I can finally take a list that doesnt need flotillas.
The change is significant enough that I wouldnt think of it as "just getting 10 more points," I'd think about re-evaluating entire list builds. With any points change.

I may or may not have started this thread for Leia bashing, but I am coming round to the idea that 10pts achieves quite a lot, in a lot of cases 10pts adds a whole specialism to the fleet. Thats a big deal.

And don’t you just know that when you get these extra 10 points, you’ll build a list, and then say, "Oh I can take... oh no wait that's 2 points too many".
Leia is going down in points but we are also moving into a system where some upgrades need tokens spent on them to be readied which means if a lot of key force multiplier upgrades switch to the new system then her ability to get a token effect may not eve be worth 28pts.

Or her ability to not utilise tokens for commands will help her utilise these key force multipliers

You would then hit the either use the less than thrilling decision point of either using the commander ability you paid points for or ignore it and use an activation to generate a token to keep your upgrade working.
This is where you have to hope the token generation/transfer tricks dont get have their costs raised.

Well, it's... technically possible they'll nerf Comms Net, Hondo, Veteran Captain, Raymus, and Tantive IV.
But that would mean rather than balancing new token-dependent cards around the extensive generation mechanics we have, they would have arbitrarily made them overpowered and edited existing cards around that.
Which sounds, well, dumb.
Or maybe some of the new cards just aren't designed to be amazing with Leia and that's okay.
I'm happy because they'll probably be amazing with Garm.
Leia, Wedge Officer, and Yavaris remains a NIGHTMARE and I love it.
It gets you something like this. This was off the top of my head and something I have been bouncing around with since I read the points change. Obviously this is just rough. But it sure makes a big difference. Once I can sit and look it over I'm sure I will change alot, or even do something completely different but right now I think its great. Now if they change Tarkin alittle bit and a few others we can all sit back and go insane reflecting on our old lists.
