Where is all the talk about the stream?

I missed most of it

Same here

Do we know if they showed us anything about the new expansions?

Anakin & Maul are 160 points, generic commanders are 55 points.

Have some talk of how Maul & Anakin would play.

Revealed a command card for each pack as well.

Thats it?

-Anakin is 15 points less than Obi-wan, but all his command cards have Permanent.
-Clone Medic and Engineer are armed, but only can heal one point. Have new keywords.
-Clone support all have Phase 1 and 2 options.
-Maul has 3 poses.
-Maul attacks with 8 dice!! "Juyo Mastery" Same cost as Anakin.
-Maul's second 1 pip command card replaces a 3 pip.
-Sith Probe Droid has new Observation token.
-Separatists Command Droids
- Viper Droid gets Observation tokens and is not a non-combatant.
-55 points for both faction's generic commander
-Specialist sets release January 2021 -Maul and Anakin release November 2020.
-Next 4 units released will be Imperial and Rebel. 2 "Highly requested characters" Darth Maul news
-jo yo mastery "in rage channeled into saber skill/combat
-"Maul is a sneaky boy" -double bladed lightsaber rolls 8 dice and is 1 attack not 2 like grievous
-"Maul has versatile play, a sense of flowing in combat"
-maul cost 160 points is also a high risk reward character like anakin
-yes Maul has 2 1 pips and 1 of them replaces a 3pip when I build your list so I can easily take them both
-probe droids are a detachment to Maul and and use new observation tokens "they let a unit hang back but still be able to influence the battle"
Image may contain: 1 person, text that says '15:28 PANTASE PLIGIT জক 32%& OFFENSIVE STANCE 37 ICON ONLY. At the start your activation, you.may flip this card. When you perform aim action, gain aim tokens instead of1 You cannot spend dodge tokens. 5 image IⅢ'

All of Anakin's cards have Permanent. They showed his 3-pip, which gives him Exemplar and Reliable 2 and causes him to take a suppression if he is not within range 1-2 of a friendly unit at the end of his activation.

Just the main highlights

Also we can expect an update to the RRG, an errata, and points changes some time this year.

Also said that next wave Rebels/Empire would be getting 4 units. Some being the most requested and another one being a super deep cut that nobody has even mentioned, but is still canon.

Was I the only one with the impression that they switched back to 4 releases a wave? I know they been super vague (except for them now calling it waves) on release now???????

I'm more surprised that Anakin is only 160. Although it sounds like is command cards can punish him as well if you treat him like an operative

All the new CW stuff has me super excited, but one of those "highly requested characters" had better be Lando...

huh so a b1 unit can now for 72 points throw 1R3B6W with 2 surges and an Aim before shooting losing AI: Attack and coordinating, or for 50 Coordinate and provide an Aim and Dodge token to anther unit. Some interesting possibilities... now to start building lists with 55 point commanders here I come 14 acts 55, 125, 36x6, 48x3, 73x3 41 to spare!

Hopefully Thrawn is coming.

Hope that anikin has something better than what was discussed. Compared to what maul has for having a flaw it seems bad.

Anakin gets to keep stuff from every command card. If you play his cards during the first 3 turns, it means he’s a beast for the last three. How is that not incredible?

Yeah, I thought for sure Anakin was going to be very expensive. Huge surprise to me that he will be (presumably) weaker overall than Op Luke.

Alot of characters requested frenquently. Old obi-wan, mara jade, thrawn, lando ahsoka, rest of bounty hunters or Ghost crew as well as inquisitors. Gonna be a suprise/dissapointment whoever they choose.

However a character from old eu that No One mentioned? That is gonna be real obscure if true

Because of the points cost, he needs to be a focus piece, thus . Exemplar takes actions away from him to give them elsewhere even if that was just going to be a move it still hurts you rather than helping. This is different from on padme where she acts as support. The surge tokens are largely irrelevant due to large surge sources being incorporated in gar lists. Finally the card suppress you for aggressive play during the early game.

While I am sure there are corner cases where it is useful i think the 3 pip is harmful. In return for keeping this and his other 2 cards the opponent gets to use a flaw card which condering how much ffg has been saying "the lure of the dark side" is likely a give into your anger effect that can only be played on certain rounds.

Thus I hope that his unit card and other two command cards are better than what is known.

Exemplar can be used to share his two surge tokens every turn. That effectively allows you to take one or two less units of phase 2s because Anakin has the surges. Even if exemplar is ONLY used for those surges it’s worth it. It can also be used in weird edge cases to swing the tide. Its not mandatory to use it.

Also one suppression is nothing especially when he can be at range 2 to prevent it. If you play him right, he’s not getting shot, which means his suppression goes away at the end of the turn.

And quite often it's nice having a suppression on a character for the cover.

@F0RGED , how are you giving an aim and a dodge to another unit?

Binoculars and the new Portable Scanner

Are they able to take both? Because ****, that would be an amazing option for 50 points!

Both say B1's ignore the Gear slot requirement, nothing saying they cant ignore it more than once
