One of each starter and squadron pack, and then maybe another starter for each depending on if more ships are announced or not. I have a somewhat complete collection of GCW ships but the Clone Wars is my jam and I have been waiting a long time for it so I'll probably be getting much more down the line.

They did end it with this more or less as a teaser for what is to come in January/Q1 2021.

I really wish they had said they had plans to release the Acclamator and Munificent as separate expansions but they said they had no plans for that at this time. Hopefully that is code for 'we can't talk about future products'. I want multiples of those two ships but the $99.95 for multiples is a bit hard to swallow.

Oh, I get you completely. I won't even fly a ship or squadron if it wasnt in the original 3 movies, personally. It makes it hard as I'm limited to just 4-5 ships, but who really wants Hammerheads anyway? I mean, was Rogue One even that GOOD? We got like NO lightsaber battles, the space battle didnt have anyone I cared about, and the ground battle, IF YOU CAN CALL IT THAT, was barely seen.

I only play with stuff from the Christmas Special and am outraged once again that there is no representation of Bea Arthur and Harvey Korman. Outrageous and appalling.

Same. I'm HALF tempted to get multiples of the squadron packs, but...I sort of don't think that should be needed. The thing about the Clone Wars was that both sides tended to be VERY heavy in their 'generic' squads, with relatively few aces/specialist ships. So the pair of each of the 3 non-starter squadrons...feels like the right ratio.

Of course, all that's theory-crafting before we see the stats and abilities of everything. And DEFINITELY getting the ships when they do the standalone releases for them - a pair of Acclamators and a pair of Munificents is a MUST HAVE for me, but I just can't justify the duplicate excess of multiple starter sets.

That's quite the opposite of what they said. They said they would look at putting them out as their own expansions, but were focused on the core sets for now.

I agree big time, it feels like cis cards reward a different playstyle and that seems fun.

My plans atm are 2 of each starter, 2 of each squad pack, and a card pack. I run the game for my group at my place and said crew uses my stuff so I need enough for everyone to run whatever idiocy they can come up with.

It kinda proves his point actually.

Right now, FFG does not have plans to release standalone versions of the core ships. That means they probably don't have single ship packaging or separate cards and cardboard. They may not even have enough core ships produced to separate into standalone expansions.

Yes, but it was well before Covid hit that they stopped supporting Armada, that is what killed it. Last thing that my local store got was the Super (of the ten of us four got one, and one got two), then there was so long with nothing, not able to get stuff (new or old) so the community moved on to other games, and in my local area it is dead. Covid is just putting a slab on top after the nails have already been put in.

Mostly marvel crisis protocol, maybe some of the new legion stuff. Definitely not Armada. Not after they quit supporting or printing the game for years at a time. Game is completely dead in my area. And that’s after we had three separate pods (18 players) going at once for CC a couple years ago.

I bought an arquitens just yesterday and order another one they have at the storage. I got lucky.

Probably three of each starter, two packs of each squadrons and two cards collection. Now, I need to be the perfect husband till the release, so, FFG, please, before christmas, because after, it will be too late for me 😂

I will be getting 2 republic starter sets and 1-2 republic squadron expansions. Also 3 separatist expansions and 2 separatist squadron expansions. I will also get 3 or more venator star destroyers when they come out and one of each separatist destroyers.

Likely not as few things as I hope. Probably two of each and a upgrade cards box. It is only money and I do not have to justify the purchase to a budget committee. Plus a bunch of the new X-wing releases. I really like all of the prequel era stuff releasing.

I will be utterly flabbergasted if CW actually makes the holidays.

It will be the first time since Wave 2, but they're proclaiming December in every statement.

I will buy the updated cards because remembering errata is a pain, but the only way I might get Clone Wars ships is when they are singles to be repainted as old surplus ships in my Reb/Empire fleets.
