So looks like Clone wars might not be following the GCW release schedule anymore.

Specialists for CIS:
T-series Commander
Repair droid
Medic Droid
Scout droid

Specialists for GAR:
Generic Clone Commander
Comms technician Clone
Medic Clone
Repair Clone

And you'll get that specialist pack in...Jan 2021. Does anyone else hate these long drop times? 6 months. I don't understand FFGs absurdly long drop times.

Yeah, the 6 month lead time means there is plenty of opportunities for unexpected delays, which just makes things more annoying for us, the customers.

So that would mean we get AT-RT and STAPs in late September or October, and Anakin and Maul in November. It would be nice if we get something else this year rather than having to wait for another few months to get the specialists.

It's possible there is another release in there they didn't spoil for whatever reason. This would be the first break from the GCW schedule for CW, in that they skipped over another set of Special Forces. It could also be whatever Mandalorian release they hinted at for this year, but then never announced anything further.

As things stand now my wallet will be happy as I don't collect clone wars era.

Ouch that was a bit.............underwhelming. I mean just 4 units with two for next year? Seems like whatever issues they had pre-coivd has just gotten worse since the virus hit.

At least we should get that point change soon.

My thoughts exactly. But what if...this is a way to lure people like us into CW? I can see myself going for it now through lack of releases. Delightfully devilish, FFG

I wish they announced more stuff... I was really kinda expecting like 2 or 3 things for the clone wars factions and 1 Civil War drop for each faction. But they also probably haven't been able to play test, had issues with designing things, and chances are they are having issues with suppliers too.

I am super excited for the tactical Droid. Double AAT could be a thing, or spamming commandos, or using Maul and cad bane together. Can't wait for more info.

I am pretty disappointed all across the board. I do have republic forces, but I’m not sure if I’ll stick with it given how I can’t find the last releases anywhere, and I’m sure ARCs will sell out fast. And, doesn’t look like much to be excited about beyond that.

And the GCW doesn’t have a lot of excitement either.

Well, the photos of the models showed at least some of them in Phase 1 and Phase 2 helmets, so I'm guessing they'll probably be like the other specialists, and just go into any Corps unit.

From what I have heard, the playtest department has been shut down since the fairly early in the year (March I think?). But I think they have been playtesting fairly far in advance of actual releases.

Double AAT is possible and highly effective already, grievous 2 AAT and naked b1s play use a comm relay and I’m pilots and LTA on tanks and go to town

Well this has been a day of disappointments, first i find out that Lion Rampart says restock of B2's and Phase 2's will be in october, now this. I play Empire and CIS, and nothing coming out has got me excited except the Specialists. I don't need more operatives until i can afford a cheap commander. And now we need to wait until January, which by the ways the said last year was the time to release the AAT which i got in june so i'm not holding my breath. at this rate i may as well shelf my CIS and just play Marvel Champions.

A 6 month lead time is NOT new for Legion announcements, virus or no virus.

Should have clarified, double aat, double stap. I've been tossing around the idea with a buddy but waiting for a commander it'll work with. But I'm going to try that now too.
