Lists 1/2 "Sharing is Caring"
My thought is this: if Jake shares with Ten, and Ten shares with Lando, and Lando shares with Jake... why not just have folks be a little more selfish?
For Ten, I'd cut Squad Leader for a Cannon. Autoblasters or Ion should do it, and add Fire Control System, since why not. Frees up a few points for Crack Shot or Predator for Jake. Lando's fine as-is.
- Ten does Roll/Locks himself for double taps.
- Jake does his stuff, he can keep Snap Shot, just be sure to get him like CS as an extra perk.
- Lando is flexible. He can toss an action to whoever, or keep it for himself. Whatever makes sense that turn. Ten can't fit a roll? He just locks on his own turn, and Lando shoots him the Focus -> Red Roll, to still get a stress from a failure. Think you want to hold off on Jake's boost until later? Lando can sling one along, and then get a freebee focus himself in the process.
Trying to go for sharing as a main strategy? Too much can break. But sharing as a backup for generally playing it loose? Sounds fine.
What are your thoughts on swapping R2 for K-2SO? That would open up 2 more points as well as adding a white jam and a source of calculate. But it makes Lando more squishy in the late game.
Six of one, half dozen of the other. One nice thing about Kaytoo is that there's usually someone who's probably pulling a blue move each turn and isn't stressed from last turn. There are also probably times when the Jam is nice. The thing I don't like is that there's an anti-synergy with Lando's red boost. One great thing about Lando is how easily he can clear the stress from a boost, so he can boost more freely, and large base boosts are frequently awesome. So next turn, Lando can't really Kaytoo himself.
I mean, I know I've seen more folks go for Kaytoo on Lando than Artoo, but Artoo should still be pretty decent.
I've tried Gonk once, too. I think it's probably a worse option, but it's interesting.
If there were a few spare points, MF title can come in handy sometimes. It's not an every turn thing, I don't think, but sometimes you just to stop exactly one more damage than you'd otherwise take, and don't want to leave it to chance.
Sharing tokens is a cool concept, one very close to the Rebel Alliance. But in the end, it boils down to, can your ship double mod it's attacks thanks to it? You have a lot of points thrown into ships that can burn down quickly under pressure.
- Lando - Nien, Falcon Title, Perceptive Copilot
- Ten Numb - B-Foils
- Garven Dreis (ARC) - Jyn Erso, Veteran Tail Gunner
Ten Numb can fly solo and gives himself double mods. Lando Can have Focus Evade from one action and use the second to give himself a lock, or share a Lock to Garven. Garven can share his Focus, swapping it for an Evade if needed.
