Almost every weekend I host an Armada day at my house with the same group of people, with either one to three showing up. Knowing that the tournament scene at Orbital Games and/or Arizona isn't going to happen any time soon, we just decided to have our own mini-tournament at my house, consisting of individuals that are already cleared to come on post and are adhering to the Commanding General's COVID-19 guidelines/restrictions. We had five participants, and since time permitted, we ended up just playing a full round-robin tournament with four games a piece.

Large Ships were back on the tables this time, with two of the lists containing Starhawks. Everyone played a different commander between three Rebel and two Imperial list, with Rogue squadrons (and Hera to grant Rogue) being seen in most lists. We also brought in one more person to our competitive scene, David Faulkner, who we convinced to dust off his Armada gear instead of playing Legion.

With this being a truly ad hoc "event," we were playing for whatever Star Wars item I could find at Target at 6:30pm on a Friday (below), with everyone getting an Orbital Games Round Counter from Admiral Tater's Ship Shop (that I was originally saving for our postponed Task Force Tournament).

So at best, you were walking away with a Lego Starfighter in preparation for Clone Wars Armada; at worst, you got in four games of Armada, a Round Counter, and free pizza.

We set up a table in two of the rooms, with an extra table in a third room in case a sixth player showed up (Note: The cats were considered "moving obstacles" that affected both first and second player).
