so I've been recently reading Spider Woman's card that says you can have 2 aspects instead of one in your deck, are aspects like leadership, justice, protection, etc.? If so, you can only have one in hero decks like Captain America's? If so, ive been playing the game wrong this whole time, i thought you can use all the cards you have for a deck
Aspects?
correct only 1 aspect (Justice, Protection, Aggression, and Leadership)...once you choose the aspect you can have 3 of most copies of the cards from that aspect. You can also have basic cards.
The deckbuilding rules are on page 20 of the rules reference book.

You only select one aspect to include in your hero's deck. The deck is made up of that hero's specific cards with the balance being made up of cards from a single aspect and basic cards.
This does make me wonder though - has anybody tried building a deck without an aspect at all? i.e using basic cards only? I might have a look and see if its possible to do this with the current card pool; Just out of interest.

I'm sure you can, but it's not gonna be particularly interesting at this point. My Black Panther Aggression deck was mostly basic, though, with only like 5 Aggression cards, if I recall correctly.

Built this a while ago for fun. Haven't played it yet so can't say if it's any good. It'll rely heavily on Iron Man's natural thwarting ability. Damage output should be just fine though. https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/1978/tony-stark-built-this-in-a-cave-1.0
I made a Captain America Basic deck way back when. He was still just as effective. I just played his 15 hero cards more and used things like Haymaker and Tenacity more often. I'm sure Doctor Strange would be another hero where his aspect doesn't really matter.
